POLICE MEDAL AWARD RIBBON

The Police Medal Star Award Ribbon is an authorized ribbon award for the Chicago Police Department. Ribbon includes metal frame. Item does NOT include pin clutches with butterfly clasps, ribbon rack or any appurtenances (stars / oak leaves). Those items are sold separately.

Award Description: An award presented annually by the Superintendent of Police to recipients of the Superintendent’s Award of Valor, the Superintendent’s Award of Merit, the Police Blue Star Award or the Police Blue Shield Award when, in his judgment, the accomplishments or performance of the individual member was so outstanding as to justify additional recognition.

Presentation: This award is presented to Sworn Department Members in the form of a ribbon bar, Medallion and certificate.
