FIELD TRAINING OFFICER SERVICE AWARD RIBBON

The Field Training Officer Service Award Ribbon is an authorized ribbon award for the Chicago Police Department. Ribbon includes metal frame. Item does NOT include pin clutches with butterfly clasps, ribbon rack or any appurtenances (stars / oak leaves). Those items are sold separately.

Award Description: Granted to any sworn Department member who has served for a minimum of three years as a Field Training Officer.

Presentation: This award will be presented in the form of a ribbon bar for 3-5 years of FTO service. To represent 6-8 years as a FTO, a bronze oak leaf will be centered on the ribbon bar. For 9 or more years of FTO service, a silver oak leaf will be centered on the ribbon bar. This award is approved by the Director, Human Resources Division.
